it'll be a lost music night at the enterprise, north london.
also performing for your pleasure will be arndales, pete green and pocketbooks.

the beginning of july sees sarandon go into the studio with captain anthony chapman to record a new EP.
it will be called other people's records and will contain 3 songs..
it'll probably be released on new UK label little car records.
the cover will be drawn by the wonderful, beautiful elliot elan.

the every conversation split single is OUT NOW. get it from rough trade (UK) or direct from the label.
on one side is the pop legend phil wilson doing the june brides' every conversation, and on the other side is sarandon doing, well, every conversation.
the band are currently considering that perhaps just maybe they might do a few shows in the UK this year.
if you want them in your town then let them know!

WE'VE just heard that finally, 2 months later than planned, the every conversation split 7" with phil wilson is in production.
this should mean you'll be able to get your greasy mitts on it within the next few weeks.
watch this space.
the KILL TWEE POP! album is also in manufacture and should still be available by the end of march.
there are even some splendid posters being printed to advertise it.

the KILL TWEE POP! album is all recorded and mixed and mastered and sounding fantastic.
it will be released by slumberland some time in the new year.
it's 12 tracks of the type of sarandon goodness you've come to know and love and we've just heard that the 10" will be on clear blue vinyl (just like tubeway army's first album! you can't get much better than that!!!)
the cover of the album (designed by drinkmilk) features a school photo of a 16 year old crayola. yes kids, they did have cameras way back then ;)
also watch out next year for sarandon's contribution to slumberland's very exciting SEARCHING FOR THE NOW series of split 7"s and compilation CDs. yum.

sarandon have begun recording a full length album for release on slumberland in early 2008.
the album will be called KILL TWEE POP! and will be available as a CD and 10" vinyl LP.

HHBTM have released a lovely new compilation called "happy happy birthday to me vol. 4" which includes sarandon's "some sheep". there's also some great songs by keith john adams, boyracer, casper and the cookies, red pony clock and bunnygrunt to name but a few.
initial orders come with a free DVD.

due to being far too busy for his own good, stephen is giving up the sarandon drum stool after the buffalo bar show on september 30.
farewell stuffy.
taking his place will be percussion supremo tom greenhalgh, who will make his debut appearance with the band on the every conversation split single.
welcome on board tom.
sarandon appear to get through drummers almost as quickly as spinal tap.
at least they haven't started exploding.

more new releases:
- every conversation records will be releasing a split 7" single later in the year. sarandon on one side and mr. phil wilson on the other each doing their version of the june brides' "every conversation".
- 555 recordings of flagstaff are working on a compilation cassette (yes, CASSETTE!) which will include a song by sarandon. the compilation will come with a fanzine featuring all the bands involved.
- there are plans afoot to do a split single with boyracer. this is still in the "talking about it" stage, but when it happens it could well be a bogshed covers single.

finally we've got our act together with the website. it's still not quite how we want it but at least it works. here's some news.
new record on the way
on may 12 the new sarandon line-up recorded and mixed 3 new songs for an EP to be released a little later in the year. all the details are a bit secret right now so check back later.
the band also recorded a version of "and don't the kids just love it" for a television personalities tribute CD to be released by the beautiful music label later in 2007.
